CISPUS LEARNING CENTER

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've hosted many different groups with many different questions here at the Cispus Learning Center. These are a few we hear most often. We'll continue to populate this list as we hear from you. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions or need clarification on any questions listed here.

Q: How do I get ahold of my camper when they are at your facility?

A: We ask that you please contact the office at (360) 497-7131.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday 7AM to 3PM.  If you call in between those hours leave us a detailed message and we will contact the group’s camp director and they’ll get a hold of you at their earliest convenience.

Q: What is the minimum number of people I have to bring in order to come to Cispus?

A: In order for us to justify making meals in our kitchen a group must be a minimum of 20 participants.  This applies if you are the only group.  Often times multiple groups of 8 or more will be at Cispus together and the kitchen can then operate a meal plan for all the groups attending.

Q: What is the procedure for just showing up to Cispus to look over the facility?

A:  Here at Cispus we have many groups that are exclusive and request no outside visitors to be walking around Cispus.  Please contact the office to schedule a showing.  We also require any person coming to the facility to check in with our office as we operate similarly to school policies.

Q: I want my son or daughter to attend Cispus. How do I sign them up?

A: Cispus is a maintained facility where groups organized by a director can come and utilize our resources to fulfill an educational purpose.  We encourage interested parties to talk to their school, clubs, or organization to develop a stay at Cispus.  You might be surprised to find out they already do attend Cispus and if they don’t you could be the one to start something great.
